Welcome[edit]

Hi, Mparu. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  00:44, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Nice to meet you[edit]

If you need any further help,you can either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live.

Best wishes,  Chzz  ►  02:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

your test page[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

I just wanted to let you know that I have edited your test page User:Mparu/test and removed the {{stub}} tag from it. Such tags are put on Wikipedia articles to alert editors that the articles need attention, categorization and more content. This is probably not the case with your test page!

Making such test pages in your user space (like the one you made) is a great way to learn wiki syntax. I hope you're having fun and will stick around! -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 02:17, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you too! --Mparu

{{helpme}} Cannot enter the chat! Mparu (talk) 01:41, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. You might be able to join the chat by clicking on this or this.
If those do not work, then there might be something preventing it at your end; in that case, just use the 'helpme' to ask questions.  Chzz  ►  01:55, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Opisthokonta.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Opisthokonta.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. feydey (talk) 20:15, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free files in your user space[edit]

Hey there Mparu, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Mparu. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 01:01, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

house mouse[edit]

When the article goes from this:

laboratory strains are inbred,

to this:

laboratory strains are |inbred,

the usual reason is simple: the edit screwed something up. What was your ultimate goal with this edit? ViniTheHat (talk) 18:43, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see it.. gimme a second!ViniTheHat (talk) 18:46, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
