Sculpture in the S. Miami park named for him?

[edit]

I grew up near that park, and we called it "Naked Lady Park" in honor of the abstract sculpture we played upon. Coral Gables Senior High has, or at least had in the late 1980s, a sculpture by the same sculptor, and I think it had the vandalism cleaned off of it at that time. So:

  1. Are both sculptures still there?
  2. Who is the sculptor(s)?
  3. Is the scuptor(s) wiki-level notable? If no, never mind. If yes:
  4. What is the name(s) of the sculpture(s)?
  5. Add the above info to each location, as in, "[General location: park or school] has a statue [named Name] by [Sculptor] at/near [place within the larger location]."
  6. If all you can & want to do is the research, perfect! That's the part I have the most trouble doing these days. Please leave the sources & relevant quotes here or in the article, and notify me 🔔 in this section.

Also, did Rep. Fascell open the park? Did he not win any other awards? Thanks in advance! Geekdiva (talk) 22:03, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
