Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:58, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion or actions to take-[edit]

Copied to here from File talk:World Trade Center 9-11 Active Thermitic Red Grey Chips.png. I should have put these here in the first place...

Mr.Johnson1982, this is a good opportunity for you to apply the {{hangon}} tag on the Commons page, with the stated reason on the Talk page that you will do one of the following:

A. either you will request the image owner to change the license on the original web page, to plain old CC-BY-SA (with no non-commercial exclusion)
B. or you will follow the steps at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/OTRS to have the copyright owner email the image with a filled out permission form with CC-BY-SA to OTRS
The maximum time you can expect to get would be about seven days, since it's a speedy, unless Arthur Rubin would consider temporarily rescinding the nom.

Thanks, Lexein. I will contact one of the authors of the paper, and we will see where it goes from there. Mr.Johnson1982 (talk) 19:39, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck. If you need any help, please advise. I've done it a few times. Now that the image has been deleted, you can relax the schedule a bit, get the license squared away, and re-up it at your leisure. --Lexein (talk) 07:29, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
