AfD nomination of Amina Synge (comics)[edit]

I have nominated Amina Synge (comics), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amina Synge (comics). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:25, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, don't be discouraged about Amina Synge - that one was previously deleted twice, so no surprise that it should come under fire one more time. Your other contributions are still intact! We have other articles (Melter, Ringer (comics), Ego the Living Planet, and others) that have been nominated for deletion. If you feel you can make contributions to the article to improve it and make it worth keeping, please do so. BOZ (talk) 15:59, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Aegis (Lady of All Sorrows)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Aegis (Lady of All Sorrows) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 23:08, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Amanda (comics)[edit]

An editor has nominated Amanda (comics), an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amanda (comics) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Green Arrow, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 19:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your additions to Bob Dylan. The article on Dylan is very long already, and a student poem about Dylan is just not important enough to include in the article. Also, the poem is presumably copyrighted material, and as such cannot be included in its entirety. Brianyoumans (talk) 04:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the contributions[edit]

I know that my last message to you was negative, but I see that you've also made a lot of positive contributions to Wikipedia. Specifically, you've created a lot of new comics-related articles. Thanks for doing that! If you're interested, there's a project dedicated to improving Wikipedia's comic book coverage. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 21:36, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
