Hey. You've got a lot of good ideas, welcome your thoughts. Could you please use edit summaries with each edit? Thanks. Gatorgalen 16:50, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing, in principle, wrong with someone with a strong point of view about an article's topic participating in its development, provided they do so appropriately. Doing so appropriately involves leaving that partisan interest at the door, and always seeking to make a better article that adheres to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (NPOV). (It also involves those with a financial conflict of interest restricting themselves to the talk page.)

However, we've seen plenty of cases where people with a POV don't actually seek to adhere to WP:NPOV, they seek to abuse processes, procedures, and/or guidelines to get their POV into an article. So long as you are willing to work to WP:NPOV, communicate civilly, and work toward consensus on the talk pages, you can edit this or other articles. But please take the time to read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. GRBerry 23:58, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
