The article Settlement Capital Corporation has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • The article was not deleted because the company wasn't notable. It was deleted because it was written as an advertisement, with language like "We have the most experience in the industry in dealing with insurance companies, the courts and state and federal legislatures. SCC is your best choice when selling future annuity payments, periodic payment contracts or insurance benefit payments." NawlinWiki (talk) 20:47, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Before "pulling" something from a comapany's webpage please consider reading: WP:COPYVIO and WP:SPAM. Thanks.

Permission from the CFO[edit]

Sorry, but that doesn't resolve the issue. We can't take your word for it. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted material. Also, since you are apparently dealing with the CFO of the company you may have a conflict in writing about them.    7   talk Δ |   14:14, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can create the article first in your own user subpage and then submit it for review at WP:AFC if you would like. Or you can create it again, but again please be aware of the policies we discussed. Please understand that not every article starts out with someone who is in direct contact with the company, nor does it start out with someone who says the will pull data from the company's own webpage (which violates WP:RS). Regards.    7   talk Δ |   14:43, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
