Information icon Hello, I'm EightTwoThreeFiveOneZeroSevenThreeOne. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Bromley London Borough Council seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Wikipedia articles must not offer editorial opinion or criticism in the encyclopedia's voice. Your assertion of "Backward traffic management philosophy", "a problematic attitude towards excessive road speeds", "It seems likely that this Council deliberately chose for this post someone whose political views regarding motorists are in line with their own", etc are pure opinion and must not be stated as fact. 823510731 (talk) 17:01, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have replied to your message on my talk page. As you are a newcomer and are not familiar with the way Wikipedia articles should be written, I'll offer you a slightly belated welcome message that contains some useful links just below this: 823510731 (talk) 17:15, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • By the way, where did you get that map from? You claimed it as your own work, but if you made it yourself then it is not a reliable source. (And if you copied it from elsewhere and claim it as your own work, then it is a copyright violation.) 823510731 (talk) 17:21, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Small images

[edit]

Just to pick up on a comment you made about images being too small to read clearly. It's standard practice to show images at thumbnail size in articles, and then you just need to click them to see them full size. Articles would be unmanageable if images were shown as full size by default. 823510731 (talk) 18:12, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh, and as for getting the copyright owners of the map to release it for Wikipedia upload, you can find links about copyright release in the Welcome message I gave you above. (An upload of the map might not actually be needed, though, just a link to the page on the site would probably be sufficient. In fact, as sourcing goes, and actual link to the original is probably preferred - links are used for sources, while images are intended for illustration). 823510731 (talk) 18:17, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
