You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of ASSIs in Antrim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Article rescue[edit]

Hi Mr Sheep. Thanks for adding a reference to Mousa El Tayeb, I've dated the SkySports link. Just to let you know a couple of things:

  1. If you add a reference to a reliable source such as SKYsports or any reputable newspaper to an article in Category:BLP articles proposed for deletion then provided your reference confirms some of the information about the person in the article, you can decline the deletion yourself - you don't need to wait for an admin to find it. When doing so it is best practice to have an edit summary such as "adding reliable sourced reference and removing BLPprod".
  2. Dating when you've checked the information in your source by putting retrieved and the date means that your reference will still be valid if the link ever dies

Thank You![edit]

Hi both, thanks for the feedback. Hopefully most of my updates are useful. I'll take onboard the feedback, and hopefully the quality of the updates will improve too.

Linking[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your help with linking. You may want to take a look at wp:overlink, though -- I expect that some links might not be needed according to that guideline. Again, thanks for your help.--Epeefleche (talk) 22:38, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stub categories[edit]

Greetings! It appears as though you have been directly adding stub categories to articles such as Mai Nefhi. Stub categories should only ever be added by templates, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. These templates automatically add any relevant stub categories. Adding the category directly creates problems if there is a need at some later date to change stub category names or to split stub categories. Using stub templates is also recommended as they add prompting messages to editors reading stub articles. Your work in sorting these stub articles is very useful, but it would be even more useful and greatly appreciated if you could use stub templates to do so! (This message is a boilerplate, left here as a courtesy by Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting, and should not be considered personal in nature.) Redrose64 (talk) 18:57, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of ASSIs in Antrim[edit]

I have just noticed the deletion of your article List of ASSIs in Antrim. This was a dubious speedy deletion in my opinion, speedies are meant to be only for certain clear-cut cases falling under one of the criteria at WP:CSD. This is unfortunate, but happens all too often to newbies while they are still learning the ropes. If you want, I would be more than happy to undelete the article and userfy it while you work on it.

However, you probably did not realise that the article List of Areas of Special Scientific Interest in Antrim Borough already exists, although it currently only has one entry. You might be interested in Areas of Special Scientific Interest on the site of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency which has a clickable map leading to an article about each ASSI which could be cited as the reference. In fact, there is enough information there to create an article on each of these sites (but check that they aren't already on Wikipedia first). You might also want to take a look at some of the more mature articles such as List of Sites of Special Scientific Interest in Avon for ideas on page format

Keep up the good work. SpinningSpark 16:05, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clare Bronfman Page[edit]

Hi There Mr. Sheep Measham, in response to the tags you put into the Clare Bronfman page, I have went ahead and cleaned up the page a little and added some information in. Please let me know what you think!U21980 (talk) 16:44, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback - can you please re-review? :)[edit]

Hi Mr. Sheep Measham - thanks for the feedback! You asked me to add categories to my entry of Andrew M. Stroth. I have done so (and appreciate your advice because it looks and reads a lot better!) Can you please re-review the page? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_M._Stroth. Thanks so much - your feedback is greatly appreciated :) Christineokelly (talk) 15:59, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for adding categories! I learned something :) I admire your diligent efforts in helping to make Wikipedia a better source for all :) Christineokelly (talk) 14:45, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Infant Oral Mutilation[edit]

Thank you very much for adding categories to this article. That is most helpful. Hildarene (talk) 09:53, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Most welcome! Mr Sheep Measham (talk) 18:10, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I would just like to say that proposing an merger is not the best solution. Next time please try informing everyone that the articles needs more information first before proposing merges. Maybe create a new section on the discussions page first informing everyone on what needs to be done. If that doesn't help and no one responds then you can start the merging proposals. It's gets very frustrating when things like this happen such as making proposals immediately. Remember that users worked hard on those articles. You can't just make merge proposals because doing so means that you could be telling everyone that their work is about to be demolished and that took a lot of time to create. This gets some of us here frustrated. For a better alternative in the future please try discussing what needs to be improved in the article first before making such proposals. Cadenabbia[edit]

Cadenabbia is not a municipality: why did you add the false category of comune?--95.236.154.206 (talk) 00:44, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I have added the category as no category was included, and this seemed the logical category given the content of the page. If this is not accurate, then please update it. Mr Sheep Measham (talk) 08:12, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger reminder[edit]

Just a friendly reminder - you made a merger proposal in March, and you did not follow through with it. --Muhandes (talk) 07:48, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for the reminder, and apologies for the tardy response, busy times! Merger complete. My first merger, so hopefully I got it right, please do tell me if it's otherwise! Mr Sheep Measham (talk) 09:47, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

Hi! I noticed you put a category on Charter Athletic Association a while back.

Sadly, I've removed it. The CAA is not involved with college sports but rather with high (secondary) and junior high schools. It is more similar to organizations like the Arizona Interscholastic Association, acting as a governing body and mediator between the schools. (Unlike the AIA, it's quite small.)

Just an FYI. Raymie (tc) 04:36, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Was trying to find the best category for this, thanks for updating, much appreciated. Mr Sheep Measham (talk) 09:47, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Stephen Hilditch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wallace High School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Filmed landslide?[edit]

Hi! Way back in 2011, you added the article 2005 La Conchita landslide to Category:Filmed landslides. But there's no mention anywhere in the article that the landslide was filmed, either then or now. Do you have some information you could add to the article? Or maybe a source? Thanks. - Gorthian (talk) 18:15, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
