Sorry if this is in the wrong area but im very unsure how to ask for an article. But as I cant find it anywhare here and It was a very important device, in use I belive till the 1960's. Absoloutly nessesary for sea going ships, and was rather comlicated. In my humble oppinion it deserves a mention. thank you.
