Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Starman from mario.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Starman from mario.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Starman from mario.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Fair use rationale for Image:Dbacks_logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Dbacks_logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 15:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Dbacks logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dbacks logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:56, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Call It Heaven[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Call It Heaven, by Seattlenow (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Call It Heaven seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Call It Heaven, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:58, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hamilton High School Fine Arts Program requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Bit Lordy (talk) 19:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fine with me. -- lucasbfr talk 07:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't tag it for speedy deletion, and even I did, I can't delete it becasue I'm not an administrator. However, I would strongly suggest that merge the information into the highschools Wikipedia article. You can create a "redirect" so that if someone types "Hamilton High School Fine Arts Program" it will go directly to the section on the fine arts program that is within the highschools article. This is completely unfair. I am obviously not a sockpuppet of Jibajabba i have diiferent information than he does. I edit different things and my interests are different than him. It just so happens that we have to share the same computer. I personally believe he should be blocked for his actions towards the article Hilary Clinton, but since the only crime i have commited is sharing the same computer I shoulkd be allowed to edit again. Decline reason:

Your edits are in violation of the sockpuppet policy, you can't use multiples account, and if you are 2 closely related people (as evidenced by the fact that you "share" the same computer), the same rule applies. I am definitely not convinced by your explanations. -- lucasbfr talk 09:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you're not the same person, then perhaps you could explain why you both are editing from the same IP address, why you both edit the same articles, why you both use the same editing styles, and why you both engage in useless chatter on each other's talk pages. Request reason:

I'm am insulted. Did you even read my explanation? We edited from the same IP address because we share the same computer. We edit the same articles( usually spongebob) because my cousin (Jibajabba or however you spell it) and I watch the show before we edit wikipedia. If you were to go to Spongepedia, I have my own account (mrbsball825) while he has a different one called Spongyboy. I dont see it as useless chatter. That is a mater of opinion. Plus who in their right minds would talk to themselves. In addition, is there a possibility to see the different IP address that we have edited from? It clearly would show that he edits at has computer at his house sometimes, while i edit at my house sometimes. The only reason we use the same computer know is because we are on summer vacation and we have to spend the day at our grandparents house. In regards to User: Lucasbfr above, i believe that is evidence which proves we are not sockpuppets. Why would soeone log off an account, then log onto a different one to edit if it was one person? It's illogical. Finally, the greatest evidence that disproves us being sockpuppets were our userpages. Before you so wrongfully deleted them, they each had a different style. My was more complex with the coding since i am 3 years older than Jibajabba. I hope you take into accounts these truths and hopefully allow us (my cousin and I, which are not the same person,) to return to wikipedia.--mrbsball825 (talk) 13:15, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Even if what you say is true (which we can't verify), you have made very few productive contributions to the encyclopedia, so it's not as though the project will lose much by blocking you. This is not a social networking site. —  Sandstein  19:53, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With this decided I can only ask you what I have to do to have my account unblocked? I know the answer will be there is nothing you can do. I know I am worthless, but wikipedia is all I have in my life at this time. Honestly. I may not have contributed to this wikipedia as much as I would have liked to but only because I have focused on smaller wikis. This might be more reason to ban me but I have one last plea. I have helped contribute( not through wikipedia but verbally in person) to Wikiproject Fablehaven. I know that you are saying that it is an insignificant wikiproject of no value, I would partially agree at this point in time, but...when the movie comes out later this year, it will be a thriving wikiproject( created by Jibajabba, Jabba78, and myself). In conclusion, I know there is no waying of telling if I am a sockpuppet or not (even though I swear on my life that I am not)but I only wish that I could return to wikipedia. If not now, but in the future. Thank you for your precious time.--mrbsball825 (talk) 21:03, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have given your unblock request some thought. Honestly, you aren't making things easy. There are 2 (3?) accounts that are closely related to you (same IP), this one and User:Jabba78 both claim that their younger brother did the vandalism while they were away. Since that's very doubtful, this doesn't help us trusting you. Please come clean, stop bullshitting us so we can consider an unblock. For now, I don't think unblocking any of your 3 (4?) accounts would be wise. We have better things to do than playing games. I'll look again in 10 hours or so to see if you've replied, but I'll be away for a week after that. -- lucasbfr talk 23:13, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|First off, Jibajabba (my cousin) is an eleven year old(like he says) and really shouldnt be on the computer without supervision. As for everything else, there has been no "BS-ing" as you say. I have no reason to vandalized wikipedia(personally I hate when people disrepect the site, since ive used it many times as a resource for a research paper and rely on it to be truthful). I personally belived that Jibbajaba being banned for 5 years is the perfect time length for a block. He needs time to mature to the age of 16 so he can make useful edits to Wikipedia. Truthfully, he has profoundly contributed to the Spongebob sections. As for me, I think a 2 week block is suitable for the troubles I have caused you. Seriously, how much vandalisim have I done? If the crime I've "comitted" is sockpuppetry, then how would you feel if a close relative of yours started a wikipedia account on your computer and used the same IP address as you? I know its impossible for you to tell if I am a sockpuppet or not, but, as previously stated I swear my life that I am indeed NOT a sockpuppet. I guess that's not enough in today's world. In the end it is your decision. Hopefully looking forward to rejoining wikipedia, maybe. With the deepest of regards--mrbsball825 (talk) 23:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)}}[reply]

Ok. I've decided to take this as a request to make this account the "main" account for you. Since one of your accounts (User:Jabba78) was blocked for only two weeks, I'm reducing your block to two weeks and have now made the block on that account indefinite. If you are all one person, there's no reason not to do this. If you aren't, I believe that of the three of you, you are the one who has caused the least problems on your own. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Dwight schrute.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dwight schrute.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Speedy deletion of "Wikipedians Against Bans Based Upon The Sharing of IP Address"[edit]

A page you created, Wikipedians Against Bans Based Upon The Sharing of IP Address, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is vandalism.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thanks. Calvin 1998 (t-c) 23:18, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't continue to recreate the petition you attempted to mount on Wikipedia. There are certainly mechanisms for discussion of various policies, but petitions in article space are not among them (see, for example, WP:NOT#DEMOCRACY). I'd like to recommend that you channel your ambition to change policy into some more appropriate route, perhaps starting with one of the discussion pages that are set aside for such things. Thank you for uploading Image:Lacoste smaller.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Jibajabba[edit]

I don't know if you still use Wikipedia. But I am very sorry for causing you to get blocked. I am back know though since early 2012. - Jibajabba

A tag has been placed on File:Bentleycontinentalgtc3.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
