Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Fast forward. Advertising, and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox", is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Toohool 04:22, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please advise - I want to be listed on Wikipedia like other composers eg: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Ashley How do I go about this. My legal name is Fast Forward - I am a professional composer. This is my website http://www.mrfastforward.com I attempted to add to the existing listing for Fast forward. Do I make a new wikipedia page under Fast Forward?

Thanks for your help.

No. Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Fast forward. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:38, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
