Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Duke Friedrich Paul Wilhelm.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:10, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Duke Friedrich Paul Wilhelm Sketch.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Duke Friedrich Paul Wilhelm.jpg. The copy called Image:Duke Friedrich Paul Wilhelm.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:46, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mr. Ritter, judging by your username you are the author of the book you added to the above article. I'd like to point out our conflict of interest policy, and also mention that it's bad form to a) add your book to the top of an alphabetized list b) add a book to the references section that wasn't actually used to write the article. Wikipedia is not here to help you promote your book, so please be careful about future additions to articles. You might also want to check out our spam policy, which usually applies to adding external links about yourself or your products, but could also be applied to spamming articles with the name of your book. Thanks. Katr67 18:43, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The problem looks to be that you removed sources all the sources and wikilinks that were already there: it's now clear you didn't remove them per se, but your edit messed up the formatting so it looked like they were all lost. There should be no problem if you go back and add your new sources in the proper format, and remove statements not attributed to reliable sources. I can help you along if you'd like.--Cúchullain t/c 19:22, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
