A tag has been placed on Scott McCloud (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A little help required

Hi,

I'm a special educator working in a deaf school in Tura, Meghalaya, India. I'm doing a project on Sign Languages to help out the Deaf community here understand their roots. I don't have access to Project Muse and there is this book which I need - Deafway : Perspectives from the International Conference on Deaf Culture.

http://muse.jhu.edu/books/9781563682032

I work in an institution, where they can't afford to subscribe to Project Muse. If you could help me this, I'll be really grateful.

Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pallavi.tura (talkcontribs) 10:28, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

I am currently developing this article and struggling on the source front. I see that you added this edit in 2010, inserting references for PC Zone Issue 203 and PC Gamer UK 105. If possible do you have these issues still and if so would you be willing to scan/photograph the pages relevant to the game so that I could use them in improving the article? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Darkwarriorblake / SEXY ACTION TALK PAGE! 23:36, 23 August 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, I no longer have access to these issues. --Muchness (talk) 00:49, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

Thank you!

Your help with the Project Muse earlier enabled me to ace the project. Thank you so much! My teacher (Arun Rao, Director of ASLI-India) was so impressed that he has given away all his 32 books (he calls them his life savings) related to this field to me & my partner :)

I got almost all the ones that I've been looking for a long time except two:

1. http://muse.jhu.edu/books/9781563683756 : The Deaf Way II Reader Perspectives from the Second International Conference on Deaf Culture

2. http://muse.jhu.edu/books/9781563686207 : Telling Deaf Lives- Agents of Change

Would it be possible for you to find these and send it across?

In any case, thank you so much! I really can't thank you enough for last time!

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
