Orphaned non-free image File:Lailaa O Lailaa title logo.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Lailaa O Lailaa title logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 19:38, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When do you plan on giving up sockpuppeting?[edit]

It's nigh on impossible to communicate with you because you keep hopping accounts. Nothing you are doing will result in the progress you want to make on the articles of interest to you. If you want to have any hope of progressing forward with your ideas for article improvement, you MUST discuss the issues, and not engage in rampant sockpuppetry and violations of our policies. As is, you are just wasting time...yours, most of all.

I'm not interested in denials (again) that this is sockpuppet account. If you truly are not a sockpuppet, you can safely ignore this message. If you are a sockpuppet, denying it helps nothing. I strongly recommend you give up your campaign and come to the discussion table. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:31, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Names Unknown.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Names Unknown.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 11:12, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's done. Mulamoottil Adima (talk) 11:20, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

November 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to List of awards and nominations received by Shah Rukh Khan, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You need to discuss and get consensus instead of making unilateral moves like this. His name was previously discussed on his main article talk page. Read that and WP:COMMONNAME. Do not move articles on your own. BollyJeff | talk 13:21, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

SRK[edit]

Why are you causing trouble here? Take a look at [1]. The man wants to be called "Shah Rukh Khan", who are you or I to say he cannot? I have put a lot of work into his article trying to make it a featured article (FA), but if you cause disruption, it could fail. Please don't do that. BollyJeff | talk 13:38, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i understand. But remember, it doesn't matter niether he wish to spell himself Shah Rukh Khan or not, his real name is Shahrukh Khan. People mainly in film industry change their spelling or add extraa (eg: jiva-Jiiva, Sachin-Sachinn, Roshan-Rosshan or like this, Vasco de Gama - Vascode Gama). And just like that Shah Rukh Khan is just a formed name. So it was fair to move it and add "also credited as/often called/Sometimes credited or popularly spelled as Shah Rukh Khan" Mulamoottil Adima (talk) 14:41, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am not 100% sure that his real name is spelled Shahrukh. There is a good source in the article saying so, but the Chopra biography, which I used as a major source, said nothing about that. Some of the other books about him also make no mention at all of this spelling. How do you know for sure of the spelling? What are your sources? BollyJeff | talk 15:04, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and regardless of the above, there is no rule that says articles must be titled according to a person's birth name. In fact, it says the opposite, that you should use their more common preferred name. BollyJeff | talk 15:06, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
