Welcome Multituberculata!

Hello Multituberculata. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Sm8900, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't commit vandalism
  Don't get blocked
If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or you can:
  Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Madrid, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 22:22, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Rubin

[edit]

Hello, I saw you recently made a constructive edit on the Robert Rubin article. I am reaching out because I recently proposed an expansion of the "Early career" section on the talk page, but haven't had anyone come by to review it. I have a financial COI with Mr. Rubin as a topic, in that my firm is working with his advisers, so I'm following Wikipedia's rules in not making direct edits to the page. Would you mind taking a look at my request? Thanks, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 14:48, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:50, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Baku Metro stations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page At-grade. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sempre Xonxa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NFILM. Of the 3 citations, one is a film directory, one is about a documentary set in the same village this film was made...so, passing mention, and the third (the one from 1989) may be a review but I do not speak spanish well and the quality of the scan is poor. Regardless, even if it is a valid review from a reliable source, two reviews are needed to pass NFILM.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Category:Azerbaijani academic biography stubs indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 01:10, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.
What should I do? I would not want the article to be deleted, and I was aware that putting sources from the musician's personal website as reference, was not a good idea, but finding independent sources about this musician for reference, has proved to be difficult. Can you give any advice?
Yours sincerely, Multituberculata (talk) 08:01, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just don't copypaste again. The article has not been deleted; someone else resolved the issue. Mach61 (talk) 14:32, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
