Request reason:

The Stumptowner account is one that I used a long time ago and haven't used in quite some time. It was accused of sockpuppetry and I never bothered to fight the allegations, so to speak. Instead, I opted to walk from the site for several months after a deletion debate that became quite heated. I've learned from the experience and, if you look through the records for Multnomahblues and at my IP for this account, you'll note that I'm not engaged in any sort of sockpuppetry. I use different accounts for different projects. "Multomahblues" is one that I use for exclusively Oregon-centric stuff. I also have one for Dutch-centric projects. I'm originally from the US but I currently reside in the Netherlands. Further complicating matters, I tend to work in cafes and coffee-shops on both sides of the Atlantic, where other Wikipedia editors may also work. I'm sure several of these IPs are associated with other people's accounts. Multnomahblues (talk) 10:04, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Sorry, you may not avoid the original block on your account by creating dozens of socks, most of which appear to be exhibiting similar editing patterns and problematic behavior. I would suggest a comprehensive request, addressing the socks honestly, using your original account only. Someone may extend the standard offer. Kuru (talk) 14:11, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've read your unblock request and it doesn't match up with your DRV listing: " I created it a few weeks ago and it was quickly tagged with a "speedy delete" by another editor because, unbeknownst to me, it was a recreation of a page published in the spring of 2011." (My Emphasis). Since you've said above you are the user who was fully aware of the previous deletion, then it's clear that you were trying to be deceptive, why should anyone believe anything else you are saying isn't equally an attempt at deception? --62.254.139.60 (talk) 17:13, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Underwildwood.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Underwildwood.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 07:07, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Sabertoothvamp.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Sabertoothvamp.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
