Your editing
[edit]Hi MumbaiGlenPaesViolinStudent. One of your edits to Vigiles caught my eye in my watchlist and I had to fix it as you introduced an incorrect capital - no big deal. However, I was then looking at some of your other edits and I'm afraid they're too often of really questionable quality. Some of them change the meaning of the text in a subtle way, some of them have incorrect (excessive) capitalisation of nouns that aren't proper nouns. You're also regularly describing edits as grammar fixes when they are not. I can see you're doing what you can to improve things but I'm afraid you're making as many mistakes as fixing them - if not more. Please slow down and really think about your edits before you make them, and make sure you familiarise yourself with our manual of style in regard to capitalisation, in particular. Thanks! ninety:one 13:20, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thankyou 91 as you can tell I am a beginner in Wikipedia terms MumbaiGlenPaesViolinStudent (talk) 14:20, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
- And that's not a problem - we all have to start somewhere! Can I just take this edit as an example: "modernism" does not need to be capitalised here, and the grammar isn't quite right - so it should be "Poetry written in the modernist tradition". I also don't think this is an entirely accurate description. Modernism as a concept covers a very, very broad range of things and styles. "Modernist poetry" is going to be linked to a specific instance of modernism, in its literary context, ie literary modernism. I think it would be more accurate to describe it a little more precisely as "poetry written in the tradition of literary modernism", or "poetry written in the style of modernist literature". ninety:one 16:37, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Your Recent Edit
[edit]Hello, I'm ToastGuard. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Indian independence movement, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. While the edit might have been helpful, you did not cite your source nor did you use propper grammar such as saying "As well as" or "including" instead of 2 ands. -Toast (talk) 17:55, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- It is no problem, just make sure to add sources or citations, i'm sure if it was such a large event you can find at least a single source. -Toast (talk) 18:26, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Call the Midwife (book). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 21:13, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Thankyou for the feedback. I am at a loss to understand. Please would you distinguish between vandalism and non-vandalism as it relates to my word memoir and the date of the first volume in the subtitle line here. MumbaiGlenPaesViolinStudent (talk) 21:23, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Indian independence movement, you may be blocked from editing. CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 21:48, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- I repeat please explain what wrong with these edits? MumbaiGlenPaesViolinStudent (talk) 21:50, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Annabelle Wallis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grace Burgess. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Short descriptions
[edit]Thank you for adding Short descriptions to articles. However, many of these descriptions have been much too long – the current guidelines at WP:SDSHORT advise a limit of around 40 characters. Short descriptions
[edit]Again, please pay attention to WP:SDNONE — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 09:33, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- Seconding this for the edit you just made on List of Line of Duty episodes. Many list articles don't require a short description if the title is sufficient. TheDoctorWho (talk) 21:10, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thirding for 2024 United Kingdom general election. If you haven't read WP:SDNONE and aren't reading your talk page your account may be blocked if you make any further edits in this fashion. --Belbury (talk) 14:22, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
