Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hello, and thank you for your message!
I am not sure of your meaning; as you know I am not very active on Wikipedia. Is this a general info kind of message, or are you telling me nicely that I asked my question in the wrong place (talk page for the Khyber Pass entry)? If I asked in the wrong place, could you kindly direct me to the right one? Or would it be better simply to remove the [citation needed] and not worry about it?
All the best, MundoMango (talk) 17:20, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi MundoMango, this is a general informational message that we aim to give to all new users.
As for your question on the Talk:Khyber Pass, it was at the right place. But it shows lack of awareness of the WP:Verifiability requirement (which is one of the "Five Pillars" mentioned above). Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 17:41, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
