This sort of edit is not acceptable. If you do anything like it again, you will be blocked from editing, possible permanently. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:47, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about that, but this user has been editing the coheed and cambria page so the forum that i'm very involved in cannot be seen because he has a grudge against us. This is not acceptable. I would like to see something done about this. If you check the page now, it has been edited again by this user. And let me tell you, everything I've said about this person is true. But I guess that's irrelavant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MurphysLaw (talkcontribs) 02:44, 28 March 2006
This is your last chance; if you again replace an external link with one to your site, you will be blocked from editing. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 15:14, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This has been discussed, as you well know, and the explanation given. We're not a collection of links; articles don't contain exhaustive sets of links. Just because one fan site is linked to doesn't mean that they all have to be. Moreover, you didn't just add your site (and that in itself is not allowed), you removed another. The warning about a block stands; don't do it again. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:25, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I'd mention that this guy is just a user of the site and not an owner or anything, who else would want to add the site but someone that uses it? I mean how else would any site get added? Horsman 01:49, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Severed Ties"

[edit]
  1. Please sign your messages (~~~~); it makes it much easier to reply.
  2. You seem still not to understand; whatever competition there is between your site and the other, we're not interested. We keep links to a minimum, and don't have a policy of exhaustive linking (the same applies for bibliographies; we don't include every book on a subject). There isn't a simple choice between no links or all of them; we include some. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:48, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The Pink Floyd article (on a band a hundred times more significant than Coheed and Cambria) has just one external link that isn't an official site associated with the band. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:46, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
