Speedy deletion of The superpowers[edit]

A tag has been placed on The superpowers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. RE: The superpowers[edit]

You asked for some examples:

Read the articles linked from the welcome messsage above.
Add some references to the sites you mention, in paticular a source that backs up your statement about the awards they have one(this should be pretty easy to find).
Write an opening paragraph with just the basic information about the band - what genre are they? when did the form? This is currently scattered around.
Split the information into sections with headings and expand each section
Add an infobox

Proposed deletion of The Superpowers[edit]

The article The Superpowers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable band. Fails notability standards and has been tagged for improvement since 2008.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
