Recent edits to C. K. Prahalad[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Acabashi (talk) 04:52, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit was probably undone as it was unsourced, looks like original research, and had a narrative tone. Please cite your sources with edits. Wikipedia needs to be verifiable, significant edits need cite reliable sources. Please peruse the welcome section above on editing. Uncited text is likely to be removed. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 09:06, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately yours, mine, or anybody's personal reflections on a subject is not trustworthy, however much we know the 'truth of the matter'. You must understand that anyone can claim to be closely associated with a subject and have special insight, but we are all relatively anonymous here, so that an addition based on a special relationship cannot be taken at face value. What many editors fail to understand is that Wikipedia is not primarily about what is 'right' or 'truthful', but what can be verified through reliable sources. Many thanks for considering contributing to Wikipedia - I hope you will continue. Acabashi (talk) 15:38, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
