-Assessments-
An intial round of assessments was recently done on all pages within the scope of WPND. These initial assessments...all 1,200+ of them...were done by MatthewUND. Matthew tried to generally follow the assessment guidelines found at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment.

To see the assessment of any North Dakota page, simply go to the page's talk page and check the WPND banner. The assessment is presented in a color-coded field in the WPND banner. To change an assessment, edit the page and change the word after "class=" in the WPND banner. Add one of the following codes:

Stub - for very small articles
Start - for slightly longer, higher quality articles
B - for high quality articles of an appropriate length
List - for lists
Cat - for categories
Template - for templates
NA - for pages that are not articles, templates, or categories

Any WPND member should feel free to change any page's assessment. However, keep in mind that there are assessments (particularly GA for "Good Article" or FA for "Featured Article") which can't be applied without having gone through a nomination process.

Well, I've gone and done it and the Aggie Band article is up for Featured Article status. Any feedback (especially support) would be greatly appreciated. BQZip01 talk 08:37, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Yep, I peeked...naughty me. I'll be good and promise no more peeking until you tell us to look at it. I just couldn't help myself! --MatthewUND(talk) 00:26, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Eager Adoptee

Hello! I'm a (very) newcomer who has suddenly become aware of the fact that Wikipedia is an expansive sea that I have no clue how to navigate. I've always wanted to become a contributer, and would love some help!

Also, you seem to have a good sense of humor, which is fantastic. :D

Wow. I can't even figure out how to set up a user talk page. *headdesk*
