Hello!

Hello, NE Ent,

I was just reading an old talk page discussion where you had some pretty good comments and decided to check and see if you had retired. You still put in some editing time though there is not much activity on this talk page. I was away for over a year due to health problems so I understand dropping down ones level of activity when real life has bigger concerns.

But I thought I'd post a note to ask how you are and letting you know your absence is felt. Hope all is well. Liz Read! Talk! 00:22, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

I am well. Having spent a bit of time on WP:AN/WP:ANI, I realized long ago that putting a "Retired" banner on one's talk page is just asking for trouble ;). Once saw an editor dragged to WP:ANI for editing with Retired banner on their page -- not kidding. So let's say I'm nearly retired. My main interaction with Wikipedia is as a reader, but from time to time I come across something that could use improving when I have a little extra time. Appreciate the kinds words. ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:31, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
