Ise Shrine

Hi N yotarou. Thanks for helping out with the Ise Shrine article. I have had to change the references you made to Ise Povince and Shima Province. I have explained my reasons at Talk:Ise_Shrine. I do like the new photo you added. Ka-ru 03:52, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi Ka-ru, I can't explain in English, and there're many references in Japanese, but I don't know in English.

About "Ise Province":

"Ise"の definition は originally には "Ise Province" (see ja:伊勢) です。”Ise Shrine” 、”City of Ise” との misunderstanding を avoid するためには abbreviation するべきではありません。Ise Shrineのうち、 Naiku と Geku は City of Ise にありますが、Hatadono は City of Matsusaka にあり、Izawa-no-miya が City of Shima、ほかに Watarai District、Taki District、City of Tobaにも Ise ShrineのShrines があります。そして important なのは、Ise Shrine が define する "sanctuary"が common definition ではなく sanctuary defined by Ise Shrine であるということです。たとえばTakihara-no-miya-noのsanctuaryは common には "a sanctuary" ですが、Ise Shrine では Takihara-no-miya-no と Takihara-no-narabi-no-miya-no と Wakamiya Shrine (わかみやじんじゃ) 、Nagayuke Shrine (ながゆけじんじゃ) 、Kawashima Shrine (かわしまじんじゃ) の 5 sanctuaries があることになりますので、misunderstandingを avoid するためには sanctuaries ではなく、"shrines" が exactly でしょう。

common sense での "sanctuary" としては Shinojima iland (篠島) in Aichi Prefecture にThe facility for preparing the dried sea bream (干鯛調製所, hidai-chouseisho, In the map at the linked page, "The sanctuary Kanhatori-hatadono Jinja・The Sanctuary Kanomi-hatadono Jinja" and "The facility for preparing the earthenware" are misplaced. ) があり、そこにはToriiもあります ("おんべだい調製所") が、"sanctuary defined by Ise Shrine" でも shrine でもありません。しかし hidai-chouseisho は citizens near Shinojima には holy ground or sanctuary としてunderstandされています。

Ise or Mie Prefecture は inaccuracy ですが、Shinojima iland は Ise Province か Shima Province に included されていたことがありますので、"Ise Province and Shima Province" であれば、 briefly and exactly です。そして officially には "Province" は inactive ですが、common では active です。

About Uji:

Uji は "city area of Ise" or "Ise Province" の "southern" ですが、"south from Uji" に mountainous area がありますので、"southern Ise City" は inaccuracy です。また、 "Province" と similar に Uji も unofficially ですから、Ise Province が improper であれば、Uji も improper です。
