Please avoid personal abuse when discussing an article

[edit]

You said in your discussion about Anti-Arabism in Algeria that there is no personal attacks in your answers. I advise you to read the Wikipedia Personal abuse page which clearly states that diverging from discussing the content to discussing the users themselves is considered a Personal attack. Finally, I want to apologize for my remarks about the spelling errors but I meant another thing (I wanted to be sure that you understood my concerns). Anyway, sorry again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bestofmed (talkcontribs) 00:24, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Racist remarks

[edit]

I want to express my disappointment with some racist remarks you put in your discussion of Anti-Arabism in Algeria where you stated in French: ..Il est interessant de voire comment les arabes vivants en europe savent user des failles de la démocratie chrétienne pour imposer leur lois... While may be your intentions are not racist, these remarks are nothing but hostile and harsh in my opinion (portraying a whole people like this is not objective at all).Bestofmed (talk) 00:37, 21 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Okay

[edit]

Your point is noted and recieved but please note that your message bordered WP:NPA, the edit was executed with huggle which sadly provides no context for the edit (and I was in an hurry), so why all this agressive tone? Gsmgm (talk) 13:36, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kabyle people

[edit]

Please discuss any controversial changes you want to make to the Kabyle people article on the article's talk page first. Thanks. Obiara (talk) 21:11, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Kabyle people, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Floquenbeam (talk) 23:51, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All you've been doing for the last 6 months or so is revert other people, with zero talk page edits. if this pattern resumes when your block expires, I will reblock for longer. Edit warring is unacceptable.
FYI, note I have blocked Dzlinker for a week because of the combination of edit warring and personal attacks. --Floquenbeam (talk) 23:57, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

question

[edit]

About your undo here. Can i ask why is it offensive? Dzlinker (talk) 22:01, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think seriously that an image of a bearded man with a disturbing facies is representative of a whole people? In general, paintings aren't adequate images for introduction representation in peoples's articles (even less a 19th century's "orientalist" painting, with all that this artistic style carries ideologically as racist prejudged towards North African populations) Nabilus junius (talk) 07:07, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You started a talk here that is still going on. Talk will get us to a consensus. Regards Dzlinker (talk) 20:06, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

relevent source claim

[edit]

I know it is not relevant in some issues, but i think that in religion matters it is very relevant, since it's there main purpose! so if they say that 2% of Kabyles are "reached" then so it is. And sources about the exact number of christians are totally inexistant! What do you think? Should we use it for now and keep looking for other sources meanwhile or just let the numbers without sources! the first claim seems ok for me Dzlinker (talk) 10:32, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to Kabyle people, will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. work on article tp before any further edit Dzlinker (talk) 23:41, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, we need discussion and sources before ADDING new assertions. If you continue to try to impose personal PoV without any contribution I am going to be obliged to appeal to an admin to block you (once again!!). Please let us avoid this and try to exchange in good terms and as serious persons. Nabilus junius (talk) 08:29, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
