Greetings, Nanami-chan. Can I help you in the article on Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal? Because I watched a teaser for this Monday's episode (November 3, 2008). The last two figures on the money board were P100,000 and P1,000,000 as far as I know. And then another teaser said that there was a 13th millionaire. Thank you. I agree with Tikiwont's response at AN/I - this isn't about vandalism, its a content dispute. However, I also agree with you on the content issue, and have added my opinion at Talk:Sasami: Magical Girls Club. Without reliable sources, we cannot include a statement about Anri's feelings for Tsukasa. There may well be reliable sources supporting the claim, but none have been provided and until they are there seems no justification for adding the text to the article. Don't worry about an AIV report - this isn't a vandalism issue. Your reversion to encourage talk page discussion isa slo the right thing to do, provided there aren't multiple reverts leading to an edit war. It doesn't look likely given the slow pace of new edits, but if the IP repeatedly reinserts the info you might consider [[WP:#3RR]] as an alternative. Long time, no see! I remember we talked about the episode nearly a year ago. I never got around to looking up the episode on iTunes. Now that I've seen it, I do recall seeing very short clips of Eddie Barbini and Craig Piligian doing those jobs. Re your message: It was in 16:9. I don't know why it was aired so late. When Eddie Barbini punches the date on the porta-potty, it clearly has a December 2005 date. backgammon on television contribution to 'backgammon'

I am disappointed to see deletions of contributions about the relevant history of backgammon and the reinstatement of information which is an exaggeration.

1. Backgammon has in recent years been in decline. Since the growth of poker, a similar game which attracts similar characters and players, backgammon has begun to re-emerge to a degree.

In the 1970s, backgammon's heyday, its growth was driven by a series of articles about high stakes and celebrity games in the New York Times and in the Daily Mail in the United Kingdom. Backgammon became so popular, it competed with disco fever for attention.

Indeed the game has at times over thousands of years gripped nations and this in itself and very relevant history.

2. Therefore, backgammon being showcased on television is very important indeed and relevant for anyone fascinated by the game and its history. In a short space of time, the televising of the World Series of Backgammon has already created three enormous events with tremendous growth while the World Championships has in fact been in decline. Several players have compared the excitement within the playing community akin to the 1970s period.

3. As a player, I know when I began exploring the game further with a thought to play in live tournaments, I wanted to know anything an everything about its history, where to play etc etc.

4. I also must question the original author's claim that the world championships is played by and attended by thousands. This is simply untrue. 100s yes, 1000s no. Indeed, the idea of an emerging world tour in St Tropez, Rio is something of a fantasy. I can state categorically the largest tours in the world by far, are, WSOB, American Backgammon Tour and European Backgammon Tour. The WSOB tour is the most fascinating as it has the potential to 're-ignite' interest in a game already played casually by 10s of millions worldwide.

Please do not ignore the relevant and emerging history of the game and re-instate this text and allow others to contribute to the fast changing landscape in world backgammon.

Backgammon on Television In 2005 backgammon made its debut on international television with the innovative series, High Stakes Backgammon, produced from the World Backgammon Championships for digital channel, Pokerzone in the UK and Game TV in Canada. The four hour series was presented by current European Poker Tour host Kara Scott who made her debut in the gaming sphere. 2006 saw the launch of World Series of Backgammon 'WSOB' in Cannes in the South of France with the WSOB Riviera and Nations Cup. The series was picked up by Europe's largest sports network Eurosport but was far from perfectly presented television as the series struggled to find a way to capture the game on TV. However, in 2007, the organisers of the WSOB announced its second season and a full tour with events in London, the inaurgural UK Masters; the existing Nordic Open, probably the largest event in the world from Helsingor in Denmark followed by the Riviera Cup from Cannes with a big money shootout finale, the WSOB Championship. It seems that the situation is under the good hand of Collectonian ;) I will keep an eye on that article and added to my watch list. As i'm completely ignorant of the both manga & anime version, i can't take position in the content issue but you are right on the Official English names should be used. Now the question is what are the names used in the official English anime version by ADV ? If you can prove it the same then end of the problem. If ADV used other names, it should be mentioned once but the article will still stick with the English manga name as the Manga is the original work and the anime an adaptation.

Whilst the user was vandalising, the edits were not severe to the extent to receive an only warning straight away. Generally you should progressively warn a user, ie level 1 through 4, and then report them to WP:AIV after they've done it again after level 4. Immediate level 4 ("only warnings") are typically for personal attacks and/or defamation directed at a specific person, bad faith page moves, bad faith un-sourced WP:BLP edits, blatant use of Wikipedia for spam, or some other severe and bad faith disruption. In this case it may have been okay to skip immediately to a warning (level 3), with a final warnings (level 4) to follow should they do so again, then a report to AIV if done again.
