AfD Nomination: Native American Indian Dog[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Native American Indian Dog meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Native American Indian Dog. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Pesco (talk) 00:59, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Native American Indian Dog[edit]

Article needs a lot of work if it is going to survive the AfD. That's why I was hoping the dog breeder who also works on wiki articles would turn up. You have knowledge about your chosen breed but not enough expertise (yet) at getting articles up to acceptable standards. References are pretty important when an article has been nominated at AfD. Chances are this one will get deleted? I can't change my vote again until I see some definite improvement. Might pay for you to check out some of the other dog articles like say American Bulldog. Now that's just an example ok. See how the article is set out. I realize you don't have that kind of information available for your breed but this is to give you an idea of what you should be striving for. If you do find that your article is deleted, don't lose heart as I think at some stage in the future it will be recreated. The thing is though that when you or somebody else does a future article on this breed you need to make the page look as professional as you possibly can. Any and every reference you can find on the subject must be included. Try and find other dog breeders who have added to dog articles here. They may be able to help you with your page? Notice

The file File:Naidpuppy1.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused low quality image

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
