License tagging for Image:FTL.GIF

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:FTL.GIF. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Exposure1.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Exposure1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 10:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Innobotics Corporation

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article [[Innobotics Corporation]], suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at [[Talk:Innobotics Corporation]]. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Speedy deletion of QB-3 (game)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on QB-3 (game) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Universal Hartland Visual Effects, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Nanoforge

[edit]

As long as there's not a conflict of interest (based on your choice of username), it's probably article-worthy. If third party references are difficult to find, it might be hard not to get it deleted. Consider writing it on this user subpage: User:Nanoforge/Nanoforge. That way, you can work on it here but off of the main article space. When it's ready, paste the contents back to Nanoforge and you're set. Good luck and please don't take a deletion of an article personally. It's happened to me on a few occasions. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:04, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Interstellar ark, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page YTV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 14:26, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Nanoforge. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Plymouth (film), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Wgolf (talk) 18:09, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Roderick Taylor

[edit]

The article Roderick Taylor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The history shows this has noticeably had troubles with sourcing and confirmation of information, not to exactly say that everything is going to be unconfirmed as accurate, but this is still of concern, with my searches finding nothing better at all than a few links at Books. IMDb lists only expected coverage and the longest work being 35 episodes along with 2 awards that are not enough for WP:CREATIVE (this entire article is questionable for it overall).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

The article Pulsar (toy) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A seemingly non-notable, short lived toy line. The sources being used appear to be fansites, and are thus no reliable sources. Searching for more sources turns up very little.
