Hidden Gems Editathon[edit]

Hello again NaomiFK! It was great to meet you last week at the Hidden Gems Editathon, and I hope that you enjoyed the session. I also hope that it's sparked some ideas about how you could work further with Wikimedia.

Now that you've learned the basics, I do encourage you to stay logged in, and have another go at editing. If you don't want to write a new article straight away, then why not try a small edit or two first, add a link, or maybe a picture? The Community portal is a really good place to start. Remember that we learned how to edit in Visual Editor, but you may want to have a look at Wiki mark up for use on talk pages and other discussion pages.

Wiki is never finished - it's a constantly evolving entity. And there are a huge community of other editors out there who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

Here's some links that I hope you'll find useful:

The project page for the Scottish Library and Information Council Wikimedia project can be found here, and there's further reading specifically for librarians here.

To keep up to date about Wikimedia events happening throughout Scotland, to learn more about ScotWiki projects, or to publicise your own ScotWiki event or project, join the ScotWiki Mailing List!

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon! Lirazelf (talk) 10:54, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Maggie Cowie Crowe[edit]

Hello, NaomiFK. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Maggie Cowie Crowe".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 03:28, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
