You use the template called Infobox. You type 2 curly brackets at the beginning and end of the template (like {{Infobox}}), then you add a pipe (which looks like | <this).After that, there are sections called parameters that you can use to type information. If you want more help or clarification, talk to me on my talk page or ask at the Teahouse.

All WikiProjects have a list of members where you can add yourself to the list. WikiProjects will also have a "to-do" list such as requested articles or articles that need fixing. Parameters work for infoboxes, but they work for any other template. To use a parameter, type a template with two curly braces, like this: {{Infobox person}}. Then add a pipe right before the last two braces, which looks like this: |. You then add the parameter name, such as name, and an equal sign (=). Now we have {{Infobox person|name=John Doe}}.
