Hi! There's not really any need to break away the articles from the main Codename: Kids Next Door article. There's also a bit of a problem with the format you're titling these wih, making it impossible for anyone to find them. Thanks for the help! - Lucky 6.9 06:30, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yup...that was me. While it's OK to do breakaway articles, there are a few things to keep in mind. Individual episodes of TV shows can be notable, but not always. Something as mass-produced as KND will have a lot of episodes; in this case, they're listed under the main article where they're more likely to be seen. Next, be careful of the title you choose. I've seen the show enough times to know how they title each short, so be sure to spell out the title fully. Use "Operation" instead of just "Op." Don't forget to check the formatting as well. Chapter breaks, indexes, wikis, that sort of thing. Don't ever hesitate to ask for help...and be bold in your editing. Welcome to the club! - Lucky 6.9 06:39, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm on MSN. If you've put your e-mail address in your user profile, you can e-mail any other user who did likewise (like I did since I'm an administrator) simply by going to his/her talk or user page and clicking on the "E-mail this user" tab in the toolbox on the left. Feel free to drop me an e-mail and I'll get back to you tomorrow. Gotta hit the sack. Good night and have fun. - Lucky 6.9 06:50, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever Remains

[edit]

I'll just keep track of what you do, and whatever you miss I'll move to it's proper place. We're probably just going a bit too fast for admins to keep up (what with the redirects and all. On a side note, I think you're doing just fine. We've all had our messups. First major edit I did accidentally scrambled and defaced an entire page. You seem to be doing better than I. o.O;;;; And welcome to Wikipedia. (P.S. When on a talk page always sign your messages with -~~~~. Common courtesy is all.) -WarthogDemon 07:54, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I don't have a problem with your episodes but please go through them and clean them up. First the titles should be moved to Operation: whatever. rather than OP. this makes it impossible to find. Two please try to make the article readible to the viewer -covey the information better. Use an info box displaying the episode number, date of first airing, voice actors etc - you can probably use the Friends info box as a template. Three. Please add an introductory parapgraph saying is the eleventh episode from the ....... first aired on Cartoon Network on .... Foour always wikify your work -adding links to other articles with a [[ ]] around a key word. Five always categorize I have set up Category: Codename: Kids Next Door episodes for you. THis is crucial for people to find them to definately go through them all and add this. I have done some earlier ones for you. Six I suggest you find some screenshots for each episode to make them more understandable - fair use images to promote the episodes and add understanding. Allright. To be honest with you at the present the quality is very poor and looks like the work of a child -remember this is an encyclopedia which should convey information to the reader professionally and concisely. This is not a good look for the project so try to clean them up as I suggested. All the best and good luck Ernst Stavro Blofeld 11:15, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I really wish you would make all these articles better quality - as they stand half of them have no indication of what there are. They do not all identify themselves as part of a series. I'm very close to taging them for deletion. I don't think it is helpful swamping the system with sos-so articles. --ArmadilloFromHell 04:32, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop now.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:38, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It would seem all or most of the content already exists in [[List of Season 2 episodes in Codename: Kids Next Door and has been copied as is from there. Why are we duplicating content? --ArmadilloFromHell 04:41, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have not paid attention to the above advice, and you are continuing to create cut and paste (duplicate content) articles that are out of context. Please stop posting articles now, to give everyone a chance to deal with them. If you continue to post, it is possible you may get blocked from editing. --ArmadilloFromHell 04:52, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Look, we appreciate people spending effort to write the encyclopedia, but it's really not necessary to create an individual article for every single episode of a kids' TV show. The consolidated lists of episodes are fine as they are and don't need to be broken apart into individual episodes. Actually, I would say that the consolidated lists of episodes are too lengthy and need to be shortened a bit for conciseness. They also need to be edited for spelling, grammar, etc. ... it looks like they were written by kids. If you want to help Wikipedia, I would recommend fixing up the consolidated episodes lists. --Cyde Weys 05:19, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DISD

[edit]

I'm not sure now why I removed DISD - perhaps just a mistake on my part. Thanks for fixing it. Cheers, -Will Beback 22:28, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
