The article Save Laptop Battery Tips has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOHOWTO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. About your article Save Laptop Battery Tips

[edit]

Hi, I recently read your new article Save Laptop Battery Tips. I feel that it is indeed quite a helpful guide, but unfortunately it is not suitable for Wikipedia as we do not accept how-to guides. I understand this can be incredibly frustrating to see your hard work not accepted, but as an encyclopedia our goal is simply to provide information about a topic itself neutrally, or to summarise information already accessible. This type of information is welcomed at Wikibooks. I regret to have to say that it would have to be deleted sooner or later, but for now you can salvage this information. I am very sorry about this, but it is not suitable for Wikipedia. Darylgolden(talk) 11:08, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On Speedy deletion nomination of Save Laptop Battery Tips

[edit]

Hello Nasim459,

I wanted to let you know that I had tagged Save Laptop Battery Tips for deletion, under the wrong criteria as I mistook the article as spam/vandalism. I came to realise that the external link points to a very useful guide over at wikihow and that you may have created the article in good faith. Like user Darylgolden pointed out, we do not accept how-to guides and as such, the article has no place here. I always make it a point to assume good faith, but in this case I clearly jumped the gun in issuing a warning. My apologies. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
