Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited COVID-19 vaccination in Mexico, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Foundation. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Antonio Castillo Hernández moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Antonio Castillo Hernández, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Antonio Castillo Hernández requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Notice

The article Hamza Bouazzaoui has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No notable sports accomplishments (see also WP:NATHLETE) and his cause of death is tragic but not a reason to have an article

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - Simeon (talk) 16:52, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Simeon, I don't see much notoriety in this article Avi Barot and there is no problem because it is on Wikipedia??? In addition to this article Anass Essayi I do not see much notoriety either, but I participate in some youth games and to which I do not see the problem.Nasty bits (talk) 18:55, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not familiar with cricket but the guidelines for notability of cricketers can be found at WP:NCRICKET. So Avi Barot doesn't have an article as a result of his death at a young age but as a result of his achievements as a cricketer. A (tragic) death, on its own, isn't a reason for someone to have an article, unless the death is in some way a notable event. As far as I can tell, it appears that Hamza Bouazzaoui now has an article as a result of his tragic death, but he wouldn't be considered notable for an article according to the guidelines at WP:NATHLETE. Anass Essayi got created a few months ago, when all Olympic athletes were considered notable according to WP:NOLYMPICS, but that guideline has now been changed to apply only to medalists at the Olympics/Paralympics only, so it's not entirely clear to me what would happen if that article got nominated for deletion today. But I think that's a separate question to answer; the main issue here is that Hamza Bouazzaoui wouldn't be considered notable for an article (not for his sports accomplishments, and not for his death). - Simeon (talk) 19:11, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
hi Simeon you have to look at the article again. The boy was at the time of induction to the sports world. I think that if it is quite important to emphasize that just because he did not participate in an Olympic Games, his career should not be detracted from him, revise the article. pleaseNasty bits (talk) 19:20, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, there are a few more facts in the article now but if I summarize the article, all I can see is that he was a young person, he trained at a particular athletics club, and that he died tragically after being hit by a car. It's possible for young athletes to be notable according to WP:NATHLETE (or the general notability guidelines at WP:GNG) but there isn't a sports career in the article currently (no competitions that he competed at, no medals won, records set, etc). So unless there is more to say about his life, I think it's difficult to say what makes him notable compared to others at age 19 (and who are also involved in athletics). - Simeon (talk) 20:18, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Simeon this article Masten Wanjala lacks much relevance and notoriety but nevertheless this one does exist without any kind of difficulty, it only talks about his arrest and nothing else.Nasty bits (talk) 04:27, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you think that article should perhaps be deleted, you're welcome to nominate it for deletion to see what others think but that won't really answer the original question, which is whether Hamza Bouazzaoui should have an article or not. It's tragic but being hit by a car is not a reason to have an article, so if we ignore that for a moment, I don't see why he should have an article (see also what I mentioned earlier about any sports accomplishments which the article currently lacks)? Simeon (talk) 09:15, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Simeon So getting high and having killed 10 innocent children plus added to committing acts of cannibalism if it is relevant to this encyclopedic but nevertheless working hard and having made an effort to be an athlete is not that we are talking about rewarding the bad and repudiating good acts my article is as relevant as Masten Wanjala 🤔Nasty bits (talk) 15:10, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
