Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Natasha Mustapha, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:EFL (Expo Freight), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 10:35, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:EFL (Expo Freight), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — O Fortuna! Promotional articles

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:13, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. In particular, if you work directly or indirectly for the company, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the company you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Natasha Mustapha. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Natasha Mustapha|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:53, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you post the article again when the block expires, and don't answer the COI query, you are likely to be blocked indefinitely Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:55, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]

I've blocked this account because it has only been used for advertising and you have failed to respond to COI requests despite warnings to do so Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:21, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hi Jim! I apologize for not responding to COI warnings. I am infact a paid editor and would like to go back and try again with the required declarations made this time. I have also better understood the sourcing requirements as a first time editor, having looked at few other articles on organisations.Would greatly appreciate if the ban could be lifted so I could avoid previous mistakes that led to the blocking in getting my article on the public space as soon as possible. Thank you and apologies again! Natasha Natasha Mustapha (talk) 07:52, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Even without the violations of WP:PAID, your contributions were entirely promotional and have no business in an encyclopedia. Given that it appears your only intention is to violate WP:PROMO, I decline to unblock you at this time. If instead you wish to contribute to articles completely unrelated to logistics and shipping companies, you may be considered for an unblock. Yamla (talk) 12:27, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Since I blocked you, I'll leave it for another admin to decide, since that's fairer to you. Even with a declaration of paid editing, the fact remains that your account seems to have no other purpose than to promote your company Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:09, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
