Ljubo Miličević[edit]

Hi Nath,

I am from Croatia, and Ljubo is no longer with Hajduk Split. He had a lots of troubles with injuries so coach Krasimir Balakov stated he is no longer needed for the rest of the season. Hajduk Split is currently on season preparations in Turkey, while Ljubo is training in Split. He stated, in that interview in Croatian newspaper, that he is hoping for contract in China, Japan or Saudi Arabia. I don't know why there aren't any sources in English for this news.Cro ed (talk) 13:05, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the online newspaper report: http://slobodnadalmacija.hr/Hajduk/tabid/83/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/161300/Default.aspx The newspaper is Slobodna Dalmacija, largest newspaper from Dalmatia region where Split is located. Cro ed (talk) 13:29, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Stéphane da Cruz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Invitation to wikiFeed[edit]

Hi Nath1991,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!

off season[edit]

You moved Sydney's matches back a season claiming them as post season instead of pre season. On what date does post season become pre season? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.231.153.71 (talk) 13:38, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The tours by both Tottenham and Chelsea were both marketed as 'post-season' tours for them. As a general rule of thumb, a season ends when a team goes on their end of season break (of which Sydney, Tottenham & Chelsea will be on now). Same goes with the Villarreal tour of Australia (vs. Adelaide & Brisbane). If you refer to both Tottenham's 2014-15 page and Chelsea's 2014-15 page, they also refer to the games against Sydney FC and their respective Asian 'All-Stars' teams they faced as 'post-season' friendlies. Pre-season starts when the team returns to training from their break. Whilst they're not 'competitive' fixtures, they're still in season.I also do note that both Brisbane & Adelaide have their fixture against Villareal down as 2015-16 'pre-season' friendlies, but as far as I'm aware, that is incorrect in regards to that I don't believe Brisbane, nor Adelaide have gone on 'post-season break'. As far as the Sydney fixtures are concerned, I think they should stay as 2014-15 friendlies, due to the fact Chelsea, Tottenham nor Sydney had begun their end of season break. Your contributed article, 2015 Parramatta police shootings[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2015 Parramatta police shootings. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2015 Parramatta shooting. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2015 Parramatta shooting – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. WWGB (talk) 07:52, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Archie Thompson[edit]

Sorry I forgot to sign in for my original edit, but the fact is I deleted the info from archie thompson's honours section because his three titles are listed twice and a pre season friendly does not constitute an honour. Davefelmer (talk) 20:39, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if you know, but there's a difference between the Premiers Plate and the Championship. The premiers plate is awarded to teams who finish first at the end of the regular season, and the championship trophy is awarded at the end of the finals series. It's not like the AFL or NRL that see the team that finish first at the end of the regular season as "minor premiers" and those who win the grand final of the finals series as "premiers". The three titles that are listed under Thompson's honour section are because each time, Melbourne Victory won both. They are not the same honour. In 06-07, 08-09 and in 13/14 Melbourne Victory won the A-League regular season, and go on to win the 'finals series' - essentially doing the double, hence why both sets of titles are there as they are for numerous players who have achieved the same feat within a club. Also, the A-League's A-League Pre-Season Challenge Cup (held between 2005 and 2009) was a fully recognized competition run by the FFA. Whilst on the face, it appears nothing more than a 'friendly', it was a valid competition that was held in similar stature to a 'league cup', in the absence of a nation-wide knockout cup. Nath1991 (talk) 05:39, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok mate, thanks for clearing that up for me. I wasn't aware so now that I am, ill leave it. Davefelmer (talk) 05:50, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
