OMG

[edit]

I accidentally stumbled into your flame war. I was just trying to add a perspective of people who are not involved with the flame war. As these people don't care about the controversy, and are simply interested in communicating, they rarely write specifically about the thing they don't care about. I cited sources that were examples of the use of "linux", but I underestimated the zealots.

As I don't really care (and was just trying to get the perspective of non-combatants in to the article), I have given up. It was a horrible welcome-to-wikipedia experience.
