Konkani Wikipedia

[edit]

Hello NayakDeepti, hope you are enjoying working on Wikipedia.

There is a Konkani language edition of Wikipedia available at : http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/kok

Currently it is on test and we need volunteers to contibute articles. Hope to see you there. --Deepak D'Souza 05:13, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi just wanted to ask. I am not sure if Rajadhyaksha/Rajyadhyaksha are Konkanis. The only Rajadhyaks I have met was a Marathi. Are you sure about this? --Deepak D'Souza (talkcontribs) 12:00, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for replying. I have left a message on the talk page: Talk:Konkani_people#Surnames.

There are three reasons

  1. This article should be a summary and point to the respective main articles for each group
  2. The presence of surnames is of no real encyclopaedic value
  3. Many users9especially anon visitors) are tempted to add their own surnames. So rather than add any serious content we only have a listing of names.

Hope that helps. If you disagree kindly add your reasons to the article Talk page. --Deepak D'Souza (talkcontribs) 07:09, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to a non-existent page

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kapalabhati Pranayama, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to a nonexistent page. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
