If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nazim Sarkar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Email

[edit]

Hi. I got your email, but I prefer to keep discussion here in the open rather than by email - so please ask me over at my Talk page if you have any questions for me. I presume you are referring to the article Nazim Sarkar (which you said was about yourself). I deleted it according to speedy deletion reason WP:A7 as the article did not contain any indication of the importance of the subject and why you should qualify for inclusion. Wikipedia is not like social media sites (like Facebook) where anyone can create a page about themselves, it is an encyclopedia and only contains articles about subjects (people etc) that have attained a sufficient standard of notability -- the required notability is explained at WP:N. (Even if you were notable enough for an article, a Wikipedia article would not be an appropriate place for hosting a gallery of family photographs - although I do think your kids are cute ;-). If you need any more help, please do feel free to come talk to me on my Talk page. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:44, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:33, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm sorry to have to do this, but you have created an article about yourself twice now and have had it deleted twice - and I have also given you a clear explanation, above, of why it was deleted the first time after you emailed me to ask why. But you still seem to think Wikipedia is something like Facebook and all you are doing is creating pages about yourself, and that is not compatible with helping us build an encyclopedia. Any admin can unblock you (without consulting me) if you can convince them that you understand what an encyclopedia is for and that you will read Wikipedia's policies (WP:N and WP:RS in particular) and stop what you are doing.
