[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Talk:United Nations Human Rights Council. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 22:53, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because its username is a blatant violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

The name is not profrane I suggest you look up definition and if it opffends it means some one has a politicaly correct agenda

Decline reason:

Personal attacks are not allowed in usernames; calling anybody "a joke" in a username is a personal attack. The Bushranger One ping only 23:38, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nbaka is a joke1 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Block is violating rules. Nbaka is not a person thus I am not calling anyone a joke.

Other admins; this user has transposed Nakba into Nbaka. See where Nakba redirects to.

To you; setting aside for the moment the fact that you are clearly not a new user, if you had chosen a name like "The Genocide in Darfur is a joke" or "The Rwandan Genocide is a joke" your username would have been blocked far more quickly. As it is, it took someone who knew what Nakba was to report it (had I seen you, I would have immediately blocked you without waiting for a second opinion). Your editing is also severely problematic, so I or any other admin would not even consider an unblock unless you agree to a username change and guarantee that you will drastically change your editing habits. Censorship

[edit]

Northern lights is only blocking me because I dare to suggest we balance pages and not give freig reign toa extreme liberal point of view. What ever happened to Freedom odf Speech. Many people agree with me on the Nbaka. I check there is nothing profrane in my user name. My comments with the exception of one were all on the discussion page. what are you afraid of?Nbaka is a joke1 (talk) 09:34, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why not change the name to something less provocative and edit constructively and maybe you POV will be heard as well?--Shrike (talk) 09:37, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't block you for pushing your point of view into articles, as you suggest above (though it would have been easy enough), but rather due to your username. In addition, Wikipedia is a Wikimedia Foundation website, meaning it's run by a private entity, and the 1st Amendment doesn't apply. Your username is extremely offensive to Palestinian people, and if you can't recognize that then you're the sort of editor we really don't need to keep areound. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 12:23, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shrike I was not even given that chance and you can see by Northern Lights political statement that he does not want editors that disagree with his point of view.Nbaka is a joke1 (talk) 13:28, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you agree to change you name and base your edits on WP:V, WP:NPOV and comminicute with other editors in civil way?--Shrike (talk) 13:31, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will change my user name and my edits if you check my contribution page outside of this one met those guidelines. I only ask for the same consideration from Northern Lights. Thank you for your input.Nbaka is a joke1 (talk) 13:40, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Look, the fact that we have been through all this before at User talk:Nbaka is a joke makes it clear that you created this account in bad faith and with the full knowledge that it was not permissible. This has nothing to do with what your actual beliefs and everything to do with you deliberatlely, repeatedly choosing an inflammatory username. doing so was a manifest act of bad faith and if you can't see that I can't imagine that anyone would believe it was appropriate to unblock you. Beeblebrox (talk) 02:57, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I must agree you should have requested unblock from your original account.--Shrike (talk) 07:05, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shrike as you seem to want to solve this. I was blocked a year ago by somewhat who was dismissed for administator abuse. Most peeople I know would not be offended by my name I am from the U.S and they happen to agree. I am willing to change my name but I am not being given a fair shake from PC administrators. Why should I respect there decision when they are blatantly breaking the rules? What are they afraid of?

So why did you registered again this name?Do you understand why its wrong? For example User:NoHasbaraHere and user User:VivaVivaPalestina were blocked because of the same issues as you were blocked. Why not choose initially a neutral name and don't edit in aggressive way but try to work with other editors. There is many editors of different POVs and they successfully edit and cooperate together.--Shrike (talk) 16:36, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because I was not allowed to, this is a clear case of administrator abuse. I check the rules Northern Lights blocked without discussion. But because he is an administrator he is allowed to abuse editors. You can remove the block.Nbaka is a joke1 (talk) 20:46, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
