Request for edit summary[edit]

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 0% for major edits and 0% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 0 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 21:30, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Franciszek Szlachcic, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! -- stillnotelf has a talk page 21:36, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Abolotionist and Transcendentalist generations[edit]

Hi, welcome aboard and thanks for the posting of these little known articles - however I would reccomend you put some referential links or sources to your article for the Abolitionist Generation and Transcendentalist Generation pages, otherwise I fear another editor/user might place it on a VfD for being "non-notable". Good luck. Piecraft 12:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

quick deletion[edit]

Hi, I tagged the Nitin Batra article for speedy deletion, according to the A7 criteria. The subject of your article seems not to have enough notability (yet ;)) to be included in Wikipedia. Don't worry, this is a common mistake among newcomers ;). See WP:NOT and WP:BIO for more information. As a side note, creating an article about yourself is often considered a bad idea. Really sorry about the confusion. -- lucasbfr talk 00:14, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Nbatra! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 945 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Category:PNAC[edit]

Hi Nbatra

I have speedy deleted Category:PNAC (which you created), because it was effectively a re-creation of a category which had previously deleted: Category:Project for the New American Century, deleted at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 January 27#Category:Project_for_the_New_American_Century. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 06:18, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Biological Relationship Between Elizabeth II And Her Husband Philip, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Biological Relationship Between Elizabeth II And Her Husband Philip. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Shadowjams (talk) 00:09, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of SWBC[edit]

A tag has been placed on SWBC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
