April 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm REDACTED403. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Music history, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:34, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Music history[edit]

Hello! I have reverted your edits to Music history because they contain unencylopedic content. They are written like an essay, not like an encyclopedia entry. One of Wikipedia's most important policies is that it has a neutral point of view. I understand that this is a class assignment, but please understand that Wikipedia is also seen by other people. Good luck with your course, and happy editing! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 14:25, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a tutorial on how to produce music. Also, please don't use second-person pronouns like "you". Thanks! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 14:28, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Nebbiethechihuaua, Music history is not about the history of music. It is about the study of the history of music. What you're looking for is History of music. —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 14:34, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Nebbiethechihuaua, I have reverted your edits again. Please work on the content of your prose, and post it to History of music. Thanks! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 19:07, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep edits in the sandbox[edit]

Hi @Nebbiethechihuaua, It seems your edits have been reverted by multiple editors for being unencyclopedic. I took a look at your draft, and agree that they are not yet ready for mainspace. I think it's best if the content stays in your sandbox. Your instructor can grade your work there. It's not necessary that your contribution get added to mainspace for a grade. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out. Looping in @Drdubski. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:22, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
