Speedy deletion of AyA Kitchens and Baths[edit]

A tag has been placed on AyA Kitchens and Baths requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Cssiitcic (talk) 21:23, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Aya (kitchens)[edit]

I have nominated Aya (kitchens), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aya (kitchens). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. February 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - MrOllie (talk) 17:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion query[edit]

Hi there. To avoid deletion of your article, you must ensure that you point out how the company is notable under our guidelines for corporations. My opinion in the deletion debate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aya (kitchens) continues to be that the article does not assert notability properly. To do that, you need to find independent references to the company in newspapers, magazines, etc. - I'd avoid trade magazines, because much of the time their coverage is based on press releases and doesn't really do much other than marketing. Get some more references in the article, and the way the discussion is going you'll probably find that article gets kept. Tony Fox (arf!) 17:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Environmental Stewardship Program[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Environmental Stewardship Program, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Program with no assertion of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 15:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
