Stub tags[edit]

Hallo NeoFriskus, I've just seen this edit by you. Please note that the {{stub}} tag goes at the end of an article, not the top - and most certainly not within the {{multiple issues}} envelope - per WP:ORDER. It also doesn't take a date parameter. And please use edit summaries, as a courtesy to other editors. Thanks. PamD 11:45, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's also helpful to add it as {{stub}} rather than {{Stub}}, as it saves a couple of keystrokes each time for the stub-sorter who'll be editing it to change it to a more precise stub tag like {{US-law-stub}}. Thanks. PamD 11:50, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Re this edit:

  1. populated places are all taken to be "notable", so shouldn't be tagged for notability.
  2. it already had {{Haryana-geo-stub}} (in the right place, at the bottom), so didn't need your {{stub}} tag - in fact adding that tag when not needed wastes other editors' time, so please take more care not to do so.

There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey. I notice that you say you dislike "poorly made or tagged articles, incorrectly tagged articles", so please don't add to their number! Thanks. PamD 13:24, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Underlinked[edit]

I see that you're removing {{dead-end}} from lots of articles, like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kodagu. In cases like that article, I think you should add {{underlinked}} instead - for an article of that size to have 3 links in the first line and none thereafter is not good enough. Borzák Márton has a single link to Hungary and nothing else. And I haven't looked at many of your edits. Although "Dead end" is no longer accurate (once upon a time it was defined as "no links or very few links" or words to that effect, though it's now defined as "no links"), the article needs to be tagged as "Underlinked". Please take more care with tags. Thanks. PamD 13:38, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
