User talk:Netavifromhell

Whenever you want to talk to me, make a new section. I am insterested in talking mostly about games, anime, and what we do with our lives. The following are things I prefer not to discuss, because I feel they turn into heated arguments rather than rational discussions. I will put my opinion right here so everyone knows were I stand.

• Religion: As I say in one of my Userboxes, I am Agnostic, so I don't like getting deep into religious argument. But I am also Christian, and though that may confuse a lot of you, I am going to stop that right now by telling you that Agnosticism is not a religion, it is a philosophy. I can be Agnostic and still be Christian. I can also believe in the Big Bang and still be a Christian. Another point I will make now is that I will not support one religion over the other, I just happen to be Christian. I will not walk up to a Buddhist and say "Your religion is wrong, you're gunna go to hell if you don't join my religion." I cannot prove his religion is wrong just because I don't believe in it and he can't prove mine is wrong for the same reasons, so we leave it at that. That doesn't mean I won't learn something about other religions.

• Politics: This is almost as bad as religion. I am an American, and I like being one. I also believe in our capitalist society and our form of government, skrewed up as it may be right now. However, I think I have more than enough right to disagree with my country if I think it's doing something that differs from the principals it was founded on. I will never support any future draft system because it violates every right given to us in the Constitution. I do not agree with the war because the government lied out its ass to get us there. I don't agree with gay marriage bans, mainly because every excuse used to justify them is pretty much an outright lie or prejudice. I am pro-choice, mainly because I believe that anyone who would put a woman in prison for getting an abortion is just plain evil. I am not a Republican or a Democrat, and I voted for McCain, so don't even think about throwing "your party is stupid" at me.

DF Character List

About that... actually, I'd been planning to put the list in the article for months so the List of Characters page could be put up for deletion. It's just a mess, and not very notable. I suppose we could clean it up, but I still don't think it warrants a full page of its own. The discussion over this is on the DF talkpage, I think, or possibly on the Wikiproject talkpage, and no one had a problem then, so what do you think now? I agree that any sort of character list will have to be watched very carefully (like the one in the MQ article), but with proper trimming it could work out fine. --Alinnisawest,^{Dalek Empress} (extermination requests here) 21:35, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
