Commercial use of Image:Ashraful 100.jpg

Please refrain

As the subject says, please refrain from removing some things from the Mohammad Ashraful page. Not only is that image in the public domain (unlike at least one you uploaded, perhaps both) the tags are not there for a random reason - they're there to attract attention in the hope people will cleanup the article as advised by the Manual of Style. And one reference is not sufficient for removing the unreferenced tag. Thank you. AllynJ 18:10, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Please stop, or at least explain your reasons for removing the photo. There is no valid reason for doing so as I can see. AllynJ 18:16, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

As a forewarning, you have reverted the addition of that photo on to the page 3 times within the past 24 hours; you are coming dangerously close to violating WP:3RR. One more revert and you will be reported and, most likely, blocked.

Whilst your edits are most likely good faith, there is no reason that I can understand for the removal of that image unless you communicate with me to explain why. If you can give me a valid reason as to why it should not be on that page I will gladly remove it again, thereby removing any possibility of you violating WP:3RR; but until then the image should be included.

Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
