If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Scott Salvator, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PLEASE SEE BELOW

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... i took out anything that could be seen as bias. i am not being paid to create this page. it is not an ad or promotion. --Nfarky (talk) 15:28, 26 January 2017 (UTC) nfarky

Reading the article, I don't think that it's promotional in a way that would require speedy deletion; however it may still need significant rewriting to present it in a more neutral fashion. MereTechnicality (talk) 15:35, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

i did not remove it, please take off your speedy deletion. I have edited and re edited it, and MereTechnicality cleared my page. Nfarky (talk) 15:39, 26 January 2017 (UTC)nfarky[reply]

As anyone can see in the article history, in fact you did remove the tag. Leave it for the reviewing Admin. (Also, note that MereTechnicality is not an admin). - MrOllie (talk) 15:43, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

i am new to wikipedia editing, so i am sorry i do not know how i did that. the last edit i thought i did was fixing one of the citiation links because it said it was unlinkable. please re look at it, i am really trying not to be bias. everything on that page is a fact, please tell me which particular sentances or phrasing you have a problem with and i will fix it. Nfarky (talk) 15:46, 26 January 2017 (UTC)nfarky[reply]

I'm not an administrator, that's correct, but I did think that the page was OK for advertising. It didn't quite adhere to NPOV, but I didn't think it warranted speedy deletion for advertising. However, since it's been deleted already, I think it is a good idea to draft it in userspace and post it in AfC. In the future, Nfarky, you may not want to recreate articles repeatedly, as this might lead to you being blocked and the page being salted; it's also considered bad form to remove speedy deletion templates unless you're the person who put it there in the first place. When I have the time, I'd love to help you out with your draft; in the meantime, though, I'd recommend reading up on WP:NPOV and WP:PROMOTE (as these were the reasons your original article was deleted), as well as the manual of style on how articles should be written. I have some work that I have to do right now, but I will take a look and help to improve it later. MereTechnicality (talk) 20:29, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
