Changes to article title
[edit]You have recently introduced changes to the article Battle of Fort Oswego (1814), making repeated changes to the name "Fort Ontario". All the works in the "Reference" section of the article, many of them quoting contemporary accounts, refer to "Fort Oswego". You would need a reliable source as authority for your changes. - I don't doubt your assiduity, but please be aware that:
- Over-reliance on primary sources risks straying into original research;
- You should check the procedure for moving a page;
- consensus is usually a good way to proceed.

My research is not original. I live in and work at fort ontario in oswego. I can cite a plethora of sources however, I have not had the time yet. So please be understanding of the fact that this is my second day and am trying. If a name is wrong, it is wrong. Going to a primary source for a name is not original research.Nhagaoswego (talk) 21:49, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
