Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Nicholas Wolfe may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects.

Since it's a profile about yourself, it's been moved back to your user space. -- Curps 19:13, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As a rule, there shouldn't be a redirect from article space to user space. -- Curps 19:22, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Like I mentioned, redirects shouldn't exist from article space to user space. If the material merited inclusion in the encyclopedia, it would be as an article and not as a redirect to your userpage. If you wished to reinstate the material at Nicholas Wolfe, you could do so, but the article would probably be nominated at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where various users would comment and discuss and vote on it. I don't dispute the factual basis of what you wrote about yourself, but it may not meet notability criteria, and also it's somewhat frowned on to create articles about yourself on Wikipedia. -- Curps 19:49, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nicholas Wolfe was nominated for deletion and the result of the discussion was to delete it. You may see the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nicholas Wolfe. Please do not recreate this article again under this or a different title (e.g., Nick Wolfe), unless you can cite reliable sources to show how you meet the notability guidelines. howcheng {chat} 07:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
