Typo redirect Gta iv soundteack[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Gta iv soundteack, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Gta iv soundteack is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Gta iv soundteack, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Mafia in popular culture[edit]

Hi, considering films about the Mafia I think this needs more consideration. In Italy there have been more films on the issue (films on the Antimafia as well - about Falcone for instance), and considering this article is basically about the Mafia in Italy (the American Mafia is about Cosa Nostra in the US) I think it does not really fit, and should be better researched. Sorry, but the section you inserted does not reflect the large bodies of films on the issues and different genres. - Mafia Expert (talk) 18:49, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The question is whose "popular culture" you are talking about. As far as I know, Italy is considered a 'Western' country as well. If you want to say something about popular culture you should at least take both Italy and the US into account. - Mafia Expert (talk) 19:12, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a regular contributor to Wikipedia you should know that it is not your personal opinion that counts, but that information should be based on reliable and verifiable sources. If you can find these to back up your claim, fine, go ahead. Thus far you have not. Sorry, just keeping up Wikipedia standards. - Mafia Expert (talk) 20:00, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

User- name
Your Username is still RED -- add something to your userpage to make it BLUE.

Hi, I noticed that you are red Username shows up red when you post an edit -- in case you were wondering why, this is because your userpage is devoid of content. If you were to place anything at all on your userpage (text, photographs, etc.), your username would then appear blue by default. By convention, most serious contributing editors place information about themselves on their userpages, and as a result, editors whose usernames are still red may appear to other editors as lacking a serious motivation in both editing Wikipedia articles as well as joining the Wikipedia community at large. Since you have been a long-time contributor to this encyclopedia, i recommend that you place something on your userpage, such as information as to where you live or what your hobbies are.

You can check out other editors' userpages to get an idea of what is normally included (find them easiest by checking the history tab on randomly chosen yet substantial articles), and even copy/paste from their userpages (modifying the information to reflect your's, of course). Even the manner in which your name appears may tell a little bit about your character and personal style (if the default blue is not your cup of tea, you can copy/paste a username format from another editors' post, and put that information into my preferences at the top of your page after you sign in, modifying it, of course, to include your usename.) This may help you feel like you're more engaged and integrated into the culture of Wikipedia. Regards. Joyson Noel (talk) 09:10, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Piracy in Somalia[edit]

This edit seems a little POV-ish to me, and I have raised that concern on the article's talk page. You also seem to have omitted complaints about the effect of the pirates' lives on ordinary Somalians voiced in the BBC article you cited. A bit unbalanced-looking. Daniel Case (talk) 17:15, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mexican drug war[edit]

You've added a lot of stuff relating to the Mexican drug war to 2008 in organized crime. Just to let you know, there is also a page called Timeline of the Mexican Drug War which could use some expanding based on the stuff you've contributed. Thanks. PBP (talk) 18:10, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there is a dispute going on in regard to whether the article's title should be changed to Castel Volturno massacre or not. Please join the discussion in the article's talk page. Your intervention is urgently needed. Thanks. Joyson Noel (talk) 21:11, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No need for that. The discussion is over. Joyson Noel (talk) 21:23, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have unprodded this article as I disagree with the reason for deletion. There doesn't seem to be another article which completely duplicates it. If you still feel it should be deleted, please feel free to take it to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. • Anakin (talk) 08:07, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of criminal organizations. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of criminal organizations. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:42, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Izmaylovskaya gang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable enough for own article , already mentioned in Russian Mafia article

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

February 2013[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Rovshan Janiev. Thank you. An article built on the claim that someone is a murderer needs much better verification than a link to a blog post. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 18:28, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Georgian mafia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abkhaz (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Narcoterrorism[edit]

Hello, I removed your update on the narcoterrorism page (the Mexico example) since there was no reliable source added to it and because the attack was not necessarily terrorism. It was done by rival gangs to "heat up" their competitor's turf. ComputerJA () 00:32, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
