You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Aya Atassi Khanji, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello Nicole Perez-Krueger. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nicole Perez-Krueger. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nicole Perez-Krueger|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. AntiDionysius (talk) 02:51, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for your message. I am fairly new to Wikipedia so I apologize if I am doing anything incorrectly. You are mistaken – I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits – I am simply trying to edit my own article. I am making a page for Aya Atassi who is a part of young global leaders and is a remarkable figure but has little media coverage so this is a great start especially for those who search for her at the world economic forum in Davos. thank you! Re your message on my talk page about Draft: Aya Atassi Khanji

[edit]

Hello Nicole Perez-Krueger -- I'm sorry, but I have looked again at the draft and it looks to me very like a paid contribution rather than something written to surprise an acquaintance. I see nothing there that merits restoration.

If you want to write an article on Aya Atassi Khanji, the first step is to explicitly disclose your connection to the subject. Read WP:Conflict of interest and comply with the instructions there. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 04:13, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! She is in my Young Global Leaders program- I know her personally. How can I prove this to you? I am willing to do anything. I am not getting paid to write this for her but I do know her personally- is it not allowed to write about someone I know personally? I am willing to disclose that in the article that I know her + I did not write anything bad about her I just wrote about her businesses and social mission which can be found online. What would you like me to do so I can get this restored or at least be able to read what I spent hours written? If you have access to it can you at least find it in yourself to email a copy of it to me? that's all im asking for. Nicole Perez-Krueger (talk) 04:21, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
it says "If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleter" and that is what I am doing. can you please help? What should I change so you can let me have it back? I am trying to cooperate with you. Thank you. Nicole Perez-Krueger (talk) 04:26, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also you told me to reply to you if you are mistaken and that is what I did- however you removed it with no further discussion. Nicole Perez-Krueger (talk) 04:35, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Generally it's not advised to write about people you know personally, as it is difficult to be objective. If you're determined to go ahead... First copy the above disclosure to your user page for reference. Then you need to find at least three different reliable sources (such as newspapers, magazines or books) that are unconnected with the subject or her companies, and that write in depth about her. Then draft the article in your own words purely from what the sources say, ignoring what you know, using inline citations to indicate where each piece of information came from. Then submit it to the reviewers from the WP:Articles for creation service. Espresso Addict (talk) 04:41, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay got it. Thank you so much for the help and advice. Can I please get a copy of what I had written in the original article? Thank you! Nicole Perez-Krueger (talk) 04:47, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've put a copy up temporarily at User:Nicole Perez-Krueger/temp for you to back it up offline. I'll delete it later, so do copy it now! Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 05:01, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Espresso Addict YAYYYY thank you! I saved it so feel free to remove it. have a good night! Nicole Perez-Krueger (talk) 05:07, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
